The Nordic region of today is made up of thousands of different identities personalities and backgrounds. Long gone are the days of the Vikings’ world domination and instead we are seeing a great diversity of culture and expression. But how do we visualize the diversity of the Nordic region in 2021 with a games character?
Futuregames is proud to present the Nordic Originals Character Contest in collaboration with Nordic Game 2021, Europe’s leading games conference. Are you up to the challenge of expressing the Nordics of 2021 in a games character? Take part in the competition running at Nordic Game 2021 between May 26th – 28th, where the winner will be selected by popular vote by the NG21 attendees.
The winner will be selected by popular vote on the ‘Futuregames’ channel on the official NG21 Discord server. The design with the most votes on May 28th at noon will be announced the winner of the competition.
Beyond the fabulous accolade of winning the award, the admiration of your industry peers and the chance to show off your design at Nordic Game conference 2021, the winner will receive the chance to attend one of our Futuregames 10- or 12-week online course for Free! Choose between courses such as: Game Engines, Games Marketing, Agile Project Leader, Frontend Developer or for less experienced game developers our Preparatory Course.
